Giraffe Children's Step Stool by Custom Climbers (Pink, Brown, Striped)L, my daughter, is most definitely a 2-year-old now. She wants to be involved and help with everything. She has this really ugly looking step stool my husband once bought from the hardware store for changing light bulbs. She enjoys being able to pull the stool up and “help” mommy cook but I have been looking for something that looked nicer. I found these stools from the Etsy store CustomClimbers and really loved them. They are very stylish but still look like they are meant for kids. An added plus is that they are made by a mom! I love supporting mom-owned businesses!

Lastly,  they are  wood, which makes them durable…now I just need to convince the husband that we need one!

If you want to follow CustomClimbers you can on Facebook

They have cute styles for boys and girls:

SincPizza Felt Foode I was a little girl I have always loved play food. On many occasions I have told D how excited I am to buy L her first pieces of play food. I don’t know what it is about the fake food…it just makes me smile. I came across these Etsy finds the other day and I’m pretty sure I will buy some. It is play food made from felt by Pickle Things. There is everything from sushi to pancakes to chocolate chip cookies. These sets are adorable. Here are some of my favorites:

Choose to Soothe with 3 Aromatic Play Clays from Mama K's

I love handmade things. I think they make the sun shine just a little bit brighter even here in Seattle. Today, me, L and D were taking our usual Sunday morning walk, we stopped into RetroActive Kids (one of my favorite places) and this product made me smile, Mama K’s Aromatic Play Clay. Handmade play dough is just so cute…and it smells good too, what could be better then that? We bought the lavendar.
